I've been a dedicated and constant teacher, tutor, and learner for over 60 years now, and it's time for me to share what I've learned by helping students find their own educational paths. It takes all kinds of minds to make a world, and all kinds of creative learning journeys for individuals to cross barriers to reach their best destinations. In our crowded, frenetic world, children's senses are bombarded with engineered bits of often meaningless information. Attention spans grow short; children find it difficult to concentrate, to ascertain the shape of their dreams and recognize the steps that lead to realization of those dreams. Now, more than ever, wanderers sometimes do need a guide.
